The neighbourhood
Close to Mississauga, Joshua Creek is one of north Oakville’s newest and most desirable communities. Built in two phases in the late-90s and 2004, this area offers high-end living that may be out of reach in other areas of Oakville. Upper mid-market executive townhomes can be found in the $550K range, and elegantly finished custom-built detached homes start from $700K and up. Premium homes on ravine lots with three car garages, pools and finished lower level walk-outs commonly command prices in the $1.5 million range.
The amenities
Although it’s a younger community, Joshua Creek has choice amenities for residents that include excellent schools, both public and private, handy access to big box shopping, and popular restaurants. Sports enthusiasts can take advantage of Iroquois Ridge Community Centre, White Oaks Golf Course, and nearby soccer fields, baseball diamonds and hockey rinks. Best is the community’s proximity to Toronto and Mississauga – commuters can reach Union Station in less than half an hour.
