The neighbourhood
Spanning from east to west Oakville with the QEW Highway through the middle is an area known as Queen Elizabeth. Formerly designated as Employment Lands (land slated for industrial use), approval has now been given for two high-rise residential condominium projects and a loft community to be built near Kerr Street and Speers Road.
The amenities
Residents of the newly designed Queen Elizabeth community can take advantage of their close proximity to downtown Oakville and the shops and dining in newly rejuvenated Kerr Village. The expanded Oakville GO station makes the commute to Toronto even more efficient.
