The neighbourhood
Mature Southwest Oakville has slowly become one of Oakville’s most sought-after residential neighbourhoods. Many of the older estates first built in the 1950s and 60s have been re-developed into small pockets of luxury estates along Lakeshore Road and leading down to the lake. Smaller, original homes have either been torn down and replaced with custom designs, or renovated and expanded to suit the larger treed and landscaped lots. Prices reflect the escalating value of Southwest Oakville and homes easily sell in the million-dollar range.
